“Choyce” is a peculiar name isn’t it? It’s the name of Rene’s father—Choyce David Watkins. Choyce was an amazing man. He taught by modeling, loved his family unconditionally, and was Rene’s life-long hero. The name for our farm came easily.

We grew up in farm country—Rene’ in north Texas and Jim in northern Indiana. Now, several decades later, we’ve gone back to our roots! Raising and loving goats and dogs has become the text of a new chapter in our lives.

With a home in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains of western Arkansas, we tend Nigerian Dwarf/Pygmy goats and registered dogs that help us keep our priorities straight .
