Andrea
Born on May 1, 2022, she is soooooo cute! The black markings under her eyes make those brown jewels look huge and absolutely adorable. Tri-colored goats like Andrea have offspring that are as unique as a fingerprint.
All does are $175
Our Goats
Nigerian Dwarf Pygmy Goats
Elvis
Born on April 24, 2022. His mother’s name is Priscilla, so naturally, her offspring had to have a “Presley” name.
Hey, did you know that if you have just a few goats, you can build pens using 15’ livestock panels and add on as you accumulate more goats—remodel!
All neutered males (wethers) are $150.
Moe
He looks just like his mother, Mandy!
Born May 3, 2022. He loves to be cuddled and admired. We neutered him allowing him to be someone’s bff! Neutering males really does make them more docile and personable.
Wethers make great outdoor pets—laid-back and consistent in attitude compared to their virile counterparts. They try so hard to communicate with you. But, oh my, if they could talk, the stories they would tell!
Moe is $150
Speckles
Lots of dots—kisses from heaven!
Born April 18, 2022.
He has been NEUTERED. Wethers, like Speckles, make great outdoor pets. They are super friendly and are easier-to-train than does or bucks. Yep, train. One of our wethers can stand and turn around and then shake your hand—for a treat, of course.
Wethers, like dogs, are just a pleasure to have around but better—wethers don’t bark, chase UTVs or leave huge dumps to step in. What’s more, they live longer—up to 16 years (does and bucks live an average of 9-12 years).
Speckles is $150
On The Farm
Our goats truly love to go with us on walks around the farm. We have trails that they know by heart . We stroll along allowing the goats to meander and graze on poison ivy, weeds, and brier. Four-legged lawnmowers!
Because we supplement by bottle-feeding the babies for eight weeks, they are not afraid of us. They love to be around people because two-legged creatures ooh and awe over them (and give them treats!).
Bottle-Feeding
We supplement mom’s milk with a bottle. We warm up a mixture of whole milk, buttermilk and evaporated milk, and it’s ooooohhh so good! Babies come running when they see the bottles in our hands. Actually, I think I can see smiles on moms faces as well!
We feed for once or twice/day for 8-10 weeks, and it never gets tiresome.
